Getting Over Bad Experiences ♡

Good morning everyone, ♡

It's now officially the summer for me and it is so exciting, when this post is going up I am in Cornwall so I might not be active to tell people this post has gone up but if you have read it anyway thank you.

Today's post is about getting over bad experiences. I'm sure we have all had at least one that we have found hard to put behind us and I am here to share my tips on getting over them. I hope it helps any of you out as it makes me so happy.

Just remember first, if something bad has happened directly to you it is not your fault. You haven't done anything wrong, you are an amazing and strong person and to get over this understandably takes time for anyone. Your scars make you, you and you a stronger person everyday.

If you have been in a bad situation with friends, you have said something you regret or they have said something to you. Just know that everyday is a second chance, if you are upset or have a problem with someone you can talk to them and sort it out. It is not always easy to put your thoughts and actions behind you.

You should know that things do get better and you are never alone, everyone makes mistakes and it is okay to make mistakes. Nobody's perfect or you could look at it as everyone's perfect whatever mistakes they make. You can make things right and things can change as long as you want them to.

Bad experiences are common and you don't have to feel afraid about talking to people or telling people about your problems. As long as you have trust in the person you would like to talk to then that's fine. Talking is good and it is healthy to do so. So don't be scared to do it, it will really helps.

I believe that everyone has the right to be happy and if you have things that are holding you back from happiness like bad experiences you can sort this out and make things better. So if you want to make things better you can and you should always know that you can.

    I feel like this is good advice for a minor bad experience but not huge ones. My motto is if you won’t remember it in a couple of years there’s no point being sad about it now

    This is great. I am a very clumsy person and am often knocking things over and embarrassing myself which really makes me feel upset. Even though these moments aren’t exactly bad experiences I still end up thinking about them an unhealthy amount, making me feel like a bit of a useless person. But I’ve gradually learnt that every experience gets you to where you are at and teaches you along the way. Because in the end, it really doesn’t matter that I knocked over a shelf of pasta in the supermarket. This post really helps too. 🙂
