Good evening my loves! ♡
I hope you are all doing really well. I hope you have all had good starts to school or have a good start to school. I’m writing this in advance so I hope mine has gone well ha ha?! 😂😫
Today’s blog post is a welcome to autumn post! Can you believe it’s September already and autumn is upon is. Strictly speaking autumn doesn’t actually start until 22nd September I believe that the whole of September had a drastic season change from summer to autumn. I love autumn so let’s begin with the post! 🍁
I absolutely love Autumn so much, it’s the start of baggy wooly jumpers, Costa hot chocolates and pretty leaves. I find it a great season for photography and for having fun. It’s getting nearer to Christmas and everyone is in a good mood!
You can get the big coats back out and the boots. Some uggs or over the knees! Whatever you love. The fashion is great, you can style the autumn clothing in any way possible. Or if you just like to wear baggy tracksuits or oversized jumpers you can, autumn is also a lot about warmth and comfort rather than fashion. Don’t risk yourself being cold for fashion. Good lesson!
Autumnal scents are lovely too. Wood burning fires and fireworks on bonfire night. I also love all the candles you can buy and burn.
Halloween is a big part of autumn but I am not the biggest fan and my family aren’t either but it is a big part of autumn for so many people. I’m actually watching Little Mix on Halloween so I have a good reason not to celebrate this year.
Lastly as I did mention previously the whole going back to school and the whole new school season is a big part of autumn. Every year we start a fresh, like the leaves fall down and new ones grow and everything gets harvested so we can start something new! Autumn is a time for new beginnings and fresh starts. To wipe away the last like a combine harvester does to crops!
I hope you all have a great autumnal season and enjoy the back to school, Halloween and bonfire night! Let me know what your favourite things about autumn are? Also what do you like to do in the autumn?
Have a fab week!
