Hello my lovelies, ♡
I hope you are all doing super amazing on this Thursday evening at the end of November. I am hoping this post will brighten up your day and make you happier as this post is very linked to mental health and things like that.
*Also a quick note before this post starts this is my last post until 17th December. I am doing a week of blogmas then until the 24th! So enjoy this post and make sure to come back to my blog on the 17th for Christmas posts!
Today’s post is my response to Grace Victory’s No Filter book which came out back in July and I had been following Grace herself for ages before that because I watched her Clean Eatings Dirty Secrets documentary on BBC3 over and over again and when she announced she had a book coming out I couldn’t wait to get my hands on it as it was a autobiography of sorts which was also packed with lots of advice on mental health and self love etc.
You can purchase the book here and read reviews: https://www.amazon.co.uk/No-Filter-Grace-Victory/dp/147224771X
First of all, Grace I think you are absolutely amazing, you are an inspiration to all women and girls and you have been through so much to be where you are today and the fact that you are so strong amazes me.
I loved the way your book was written, whilst telling your life story you also shared tips to get through the experiences you did as the book went on. Obviously in this book you disclosed a lot of things about your childhood that you never had before and I applaud you for doing so. To disclose lots of delicate information must take a lot of guts and backbone and that is so inspirational.
The fact that in your book you not only wanted to tell your story, you wanted to help other people aswell. This book wasn’t all about you, it was about all your followers aswell, getting them involved by sharing things they could relate to and giving advice for those relatable things.
I could never choose a favourite chapter, I loved the whole book from start to finish. I did really enjoy learning about your life but also I enjoyed the other chapters dedicated to self-love, relationships and mental health.
I really do think this book was missing from the writing world and it does really fit a gap that was in the book world. I know that if I ever feel down I will always go back to this book for a pick me up or confidence boost. As I know this book will always do that for me and it is so so so so so so FABULOUS & AMAZING!
Grace is not your typical beauty youtuber, she talks about so many different delicate subjects that shouldn’t be delicate and should be talked about more. She is not scared to say what she believes in and to speak her opinions. Without these types of woman in the world, the feminine community would be pretty much stuffed and still not properly understood for who we are.
I am myself a feminist and belive in all equality gender rights. Girls don’t get enough applause 👏🏻for everything they do and they should, especially girls like Grace. The Internet’s big sisters of this world who are sassy, beautiful and inspirational women.
I believe all the amazing things that Grace is come out in the book and I am just so in love with this book as I am just so happy and proud for Grace as she deserves all these amazing opportunities that come her way. If you fancy reading her blog or watching a video I will link her YouTube channel and blog below for you to check out!
Lots of love,
