HAPPY NEW YEAR!! 🎉💓
Can you believe it’s now 2018, it’s so crazy! I’m now 15 and I am so excited for all the new things that my blog has to come this year. I hope 2018 will be the best year ever, I know that is so cliche to say but still anyway! It is also a Monday which is lovely because what better to start the new year with a Monday aswell! Probably the best Monday of the year aha!
First of all, I should address the obvious, welcome to my new ish blog! I have now become self hosted which is something I have wanted to do for ages! Now being everythingeden.co.uk means so many things change. I do have to get used to all the new widgets and stuff if any of you have any tips for after going self hosted leave them below it would be a great help. But for now, a new year and a whole new design and new ish blog! All my old posts are here, but it is just so thrilling now to see where this goes!
Moving onto my goals, I have read a lot of things recently about people always setting unrealistic goals for themselves in the new year which for me personally is true. I always set unrealistic ones like ‘get fit and healthy’ ‘eat less sugar’ and ‘ don’t let mean comments get to me’. These are all lovely goals to talk about but when actually put in action for me just makes them seem silly. I wish I was a gym geek who played on all the school teams or who hated anything sugary and was way more confident and could not give a crap about what people thought. But guess what that’s not me and will never will be. The new year now, 2018 is all about me improving the person I am already and being the ‘old’ me with some changes and updates! This is something Lily pebbles said and I totally agree and now thinking about it makes so much more sense.
So my goals for the year are:
- To be myself and to be proud to be myself.
- Work hard in school to get the grades I want.
- Put as much time into my blog as I can.
- Try and eat a little bit healthier and excercise a bit outside of school when I want to.
- Be more social, go out more meet new people.
- Take lots more photos and be more confident to just get out my camera when I want to!
- Enjoy my year and be happy.
