Good evening! ♡
Hope you are all good and enjoying the new year so far. Kinda sad that Christmas is over but today I thought I would bring you a what I got for Christmas blog post. I am so nosy and absolutely love reading these and I did one last year and really enjoyed writing it so I thought I would do another one. Enjoy!
*Disclaimer: In no way, am I trying to brag, boast or big myself up, I just really love reading and writing these posts. I am so grateful for everything I received and I had a great response last year. if you don’t like them, then just click off, thank you.
Also, I am not including my gifts from my friends as we just did a secret Santa and gave a few little things.
So I will start off with my stocking:
Okay so I got paper…… you might think this is weird but basically my mum bought me a big load of paper a few months ago, I used quite a lot, other people borrowed it etc and then I started complaining to my mum about not having any paper, she was like buy your own but I never got round to doing it so this is a practical but also kind of a joke present.
I got a super cuddly blue throw from Wilkinsons, my brother stole my purple one from last year and cut a hole in it, so I am very happy to have another one. It has become part of my bed now, i love it!
Staying on the subject of homeware, I got a super cute bright pink cushion with pom poms all around it from Primark, I had seen this in Primark lots of times as I love browsing their homeware section so I am glad to add this to my cushion collection!
I got some new earrings, this is kind of becoming a tradition for my stocking now as I am allergic to any other metal in my ears apart from gold so I can never bring myself to pay £20+ for a pair of earrings during the year so it is fab to have them in my stocking. I love pearls anyway so these pearl earrings are super cute and totally my thing!
I finally got a speaker, I love music and I love blasting out the tunes so my brother and I both got the KS boombar in our stockings. Mine is purple, it is a great size and it also comes with a cute bagto keep it in and its wirelss so all the better.
I got some fairy lights also from Primark, they are like little balls in copper, silver and black, I am such a big fan of fairylights so they are great and actually a really good idea for a stocking filler!
I got some Calvin Klein turquoise underwear, I don’t know if any of you will find this inappropriate, I am sorry if you do but they are the comfiest things ever and the colour is lush!
I got some pyjamas, which is a MASSIVE staple in so many people’s stockings but I never really got them until now, these ones are super cosy and comfy with a Christmassy print from Tesco and I love them!
Okay so moving on to what my mum and stepdad got me. First of all my mum is paying half with my dad for me to go to Poland on a History school trip and that is super expensive so is part of my Christmas present which I am so grateful for.
I got surprised with some other lovely gifts though.
A Goldwell hair set, it comes with a shampoo, blow dry spray and serum, they all smell so good and the box and packaging is super pretty. They are meant to help with frizz control which I very desperately needed.
I knew about this but I have always wanted a Jack Wills hoodie so I finally got around to asking for a grey one I had seen on the website. It is the comfiest thing ever and is super cute and also not too in your face with the branding. I love it and its such a classic piece and goes with everything because it was grey.
Death in Paradise DVDs have become a bit of a Christmas gift tradition, I am so happy to have season 6, I love this show so much, it is just the best.
I also got a weekly planner whiteboard which will be great for when exam period comes around for planning revision and times!
And probably leaving the best til last they surprised me with the Anastasia Beverly Hills Modern Renaissance palette which I have wanted for so so long so I am so lucky and grateful to own it, it the the prettiest thing ever and is so pigmented!
Moving on to what my dad got me, he did truly spoil me this year and I am so grateful for everything.
He got me the traditional Levi’s tshirt with the red logo on a white tee. It is such a classic and I can’t wait to do some outfit shots with it, it is super comfy aswell.
He got me the Urban Decay Naked heat palette which again is such a gorgeous palette with super pigmented shades that I am loving using. I love my warm tones so this is the perfect palette to add to my collection.
I got a Little Mix 2018 calendar because you know it is always handy to have a calendar and I love Little Mix, they are incredible women!
I also got their Wishmaker perfume which smells so great, it is quite musky but also has some sweet scents come through into it, I don’t own a scent like this so it is nice to change things up a bit!
He got me 2 pairs of jeans from Miss Selfridge which are both blue and just jeans really, nothing special, it is just great to be stocked up.
I got the December birthstone charm for my Pandora bracelet which I had wanted for ages as I am a very proud of being born in December and this charm is super pretty anyway.
He got me a purple mermaid blanket from Boohoo, I love blankets and these always looked so cute on people’s instas, so I decided to put it on my list and I am so happy to have one, so lush to be lovely and cozy.
I love John Green’s books so when his new one came out ‘ Turtles all the way down’ I had to jump right on it and my dad always likes to get me a book, I am super excited to read this.
My grandparents gave me some lovely thick grey tights, a light up E which will look super cute and photogenic in the background of blog photos, a necklace that has a square shaped silver jewel on it and some super cute lip balms.
My Nan gave me a lush bath bomb, it is the golden wonder present one, I have never had this one before but how can you go through Christmas without some sort of Lush product being given to you? And also a beautiful blue Pandora charm from their winter collection which I am in love with.
From everyone else I had money or vouchers which I am also so grateful for. Christmas isn’t about the presents anyway, it is all about family and thinking about how grateful for you are for who you have not what you have. Also the food is fab aha!
Thanks so much for reading, I really hope you enjoyed this post, let me know what you got for Christmas below!
Lots of love,
