Welcome back to the blog. Hope you are all doing super well. Today’s post is all about skincare! I’ve never done a full blog post on skincare before but 2018 is the year for me to delve into more topics! Skincare is essential especially in the winter months and something you should do as part of your self care, skincare can also be fun with masks etc and you can be pampering yourself whilst doing good to your skin at the same time.
Today I’m sharing with you some of my skincare favourites! I’m going to be honest with you and say, I don’t do skincare everyday, I am that super lazy girl who makes use of wipes, I’m sorry I really am, I do want to get better and sometimes I like to make the effort to do some skincare.
This post is actually so exciting because it is a collab with the gorgeous and lovely Tash from: http://thoughtfultash.co.uk/ her blog is incredible and she is definitely someone i look up to in the blogging world, her style is totally original and her blog is also beautifully done, a lot of things I do are inspired by her. Make sure to let her know I sent you, you won’t regret it!
Also all the products I mention are what work for my dry, sensitive and dehydrated skin.
Firstly it’s no surprise I’m sure, the Garnier pink micellar water, this is the one for sensitive skin. I have used this for quite a few years now, it’s super easy to use and it makes my skin feel super clean. I use it to remove my makeup as the first step of my skincare routine and it does a really good job. I swear by it, whenever I travel this is what I take , also the travel size minis of this are so handy!
I love Lush skincare a lot. The fact that the products are vegan and all naturally made make them work really well for my skin. I love the Breath of fresh air toner, this is so light and actually feels like air, so hydrating and is a great thing to use after initially cleansing. I love the fact it is a spray as-well, as sometimes I use it just to freshen up my face throughout the day!
The other Lush product I like is the grease lightning spot treatment. This is a liquid kind of sticky spot treatment, it helps to reduce the redness and swelling of my spots and also smells lovely! My only problem with this is the pump, it is quite hard to get out and when you pump it, it flies everywhere.
Another toner I like is another spray one from Botanics. It’s the organic rose water toning spritz. This again is really refreshing and also good at getting rid off dirt and grime in my face that my micellar water might have missed. Also as it is a spray I really love it, it is meant to purify and nourish your skin and I think it does a great job.
I also love the Botanics all bright purifying facial scrub. I had never used a proper facial scrub before using this and I really love it. I goes deep down into your pores and cleans everything out, as diffusing as that might sound, it makes my skin feel amazing and like it has had a truly deep clean!
For a facial wash I love the Soap and Glory vitamin C one. First of all the size of the bottle is massive, you get such a good amount of product for what you pay for. This is great to just wash your face with on a daily basis but can also be used to take makeup off. It foams up which is super fun as-well.
So that was all my skincare favourites. What are your skincare faves? Let me know down below!
Have a lovely rest of your week! Thanks so much for taking the time out of your day to read my post!
