Hey everyone, ♡
Hope you are all doing well and good! Today’s post is the 5th installment and the 4th one of the month of Tea Talks! Today’s blogger interview is with Olivia from: , she was super lovely to talk to and her blog is great so make sure to check her out after reading this post as she really deserves it!
Me: Can you tell my readers about you and your blog?
Olivia: My blog is basically the best representation of me: a mixture of everything lifestyle with varying writing styles and the occasional emotional posts. I know it’s a bit vague but it’s the best way I can describe it.
Me: Do you have any blogging inspirations?
Olivia: My inspirations come from ideas I get when I watch YouTube videos, when I read, when I get excited and I want to share it with someone, or when I think that something may benefit or entertain someone.
Me: What are your favourite posts to write and why?
Olivia: My favorite posts to write should be the deeper ones. It’s just a great opportunity to lay my emotions out barren in front of me through the only medium I know that I can perfectly express the depths of my feelings. I only have like a few on my blog though because I don’t think that people would like reading them.
Me: Where do you see your blog going in the future?
Olivia: I don’t really mind where I am right now. Honestly, I don’t really care about how quickly my blog grows or anything like that because I’m quite satisfied with having my own intimate space on the internet where I can peacefully share my thoughts with people who hopefully appreciate what I write. If my blog blew up or something, I’d lose that intimacy with myself but I’m open to whatever happens, as well as the opportunities that may present themselves.
Me: Do you have any top tips for new bloggers?
Olivia: My top tip for new bloggers is to definitely find yourself a supportive blogging community. I remember when I was starting out that I didn’t know where to go for blogging advice or anything like that. I was basically just floating around lost and alone. I don’t know how but I started finding these people that also found me and before I knew it, my Twitter feed was full of encouragement and positivity. Another one may be to engage in Twitter because it’s probably the core and epitome of the blogosphere because it’s so convenient and it’s just a place where bloggers can be bloggers while also being inspirations and comforters. Last is to just let your blog grow at its own pace. I know that it’s hard to see that your numbers aren’t growing but don’t even think about that. Just make sure that you let your blog be a perfect representation of you and that you’re blogging for the right reasons. Make an effort in raising awareness to it but don’t make the numbers your everything.
Me: Do you have a holy grail beauty product if so what and why?
Olivia: My holy grail beauty product is definitely a red lipstick that leans the tiniest a bit to the dark brown side. It’s such a beautiful shade that I feel goes with any skin tone and it just makes any outfit look a bit fancier. My favorite at the moment is actually probably not that well known but it’s the Happy Skin Shut Up and Kiss Me in the shade Under the Sheets. It’s matte, pigmented and so luscious. The formulation and the shade just make me lips look amazing and putting it on makes me feel like I can conquer the world.
Me: Could you link some posts for my followers to read?
So that is it for today’s post, I really hope you enjoyed this post and thanks so much to Olivia for taking part in this interview and for talking to me!
Have a great rest of your day,
