What Blogging has taught me! ♡

Hello everyone,

Happy Thursday! Today’s post is going to be all about what blogging has taught me. I did mention briefly in my 3 years of blogging post ( linked here:) that blogging has taught me a lot and now I am going to get more into that. I have seen quite a few bloggers do a post similar to this and they are very enjoyable to read,  I really hope mine is as well. Well, I hope you enjoy and thank you for taking the time out of your day to read my post, it means so much.

  1.  TO BE BRAVE

I think before I started blogging, I used to be quite timid and wanted to always fit in but as I did more and more blogging I started to try lots of new things and be braver. Also this is shown in my blog posts as well as I am a lot more brave with what I write about. LIke I have done lots of bold posts this year e.g Feminism, glasses, being tall etc whereas 2 years ago e.g what is in my makeup bag, ootds etc. You have to step out of your comfort zone and try new things and be brave enough to say no and do things for you!

  1. TO BELIEVE IN YOURSELF

So many of us spend so much time doubting ourselves when actually we are all great and lovely people, we are just hard on ourselves and don’t believe we are actually good enough when we are. Blogging has taught me that I need to believe on myself more as I am way more capable than I think and I think this is a great boost for my self-esteem. Also, if you believe in yourself, you will achieve so so much more in your life and there is no reason to doubt, even though it is a constant thought, we are so much more than that!

  1. THE INTERNET IS WHAT YOU MAKE IT

I have always tried to use my platform in the most positive ways I can and that has meant I have drawn a positive audience and has made my overall experience blogging and putting myself out there a lot better than I could’ve ever imagined. You get out what you put in and the internet is yours to play with, I hope people have been drawn to me because what you see on the internet is exactly what you would get if you met me in real life. Hopefully, I come across well and I use the internet well and make my part of it my own and unique.

  1. THE FRIENDS YOU MAKE ARE JUST AS FAB AS THE ONES YOU MAKE IN REAL LIFE

Blogging has taught me that I can make the bestest of friends online and I can make good, positive connections without meeting them because they are all similar to me and we all get on well and have things in common. You make the best friends from just being yourself and also you can all have cute insta and blog chats and you all have blogs so no one is classes as *weird, it is the best! I have made so many great friends because of my blog ( I am linking all their blogs and their Instagram @s below, follow them!)

  1. HARD WORK & DETERMINATION PAYS OFF AND EQUALS SUCCESS

Blogging, I am not going to lie has been the biggest grind of my life, but as a Capricorn, I do love to work hard and I am very determined. My blog would not be anywhere near where it is today without my hard work. If you want things in life, you have to work for them and it will all pay off in the end and that feeling is amazing. I have put my heart and soul into this and I am so proud of how far I have come.

  1. YOU ARE MORE LIKELY TO WORK HARDER IF YOU ARE DOING SOMETHING YOU LOVE

If you spend around 50 years of your life working, that is 35% of your waking hours and 92,160 hours of your life are spent working from the age of 18-67. Basically, you spend so much time working, so you are so much more likely to work harder and to want to work if you do a job you love. Also if you have something that you do that you love, you will work harder at it because it is something you really enjoy doing. I have found that I always want to work hard to make my blog better because I love it so much and it is a genuine passion of mine.

That is it for today’s post blogging has taught me so much and I am so grateful for that! This was a great post for me to right as I got to reflect on lots of things to do with blogging which is fab. What has blogging taught you?Let me know down below!

Love,

Eden xx

These are really great things you’ve learned through blogging. I have to say a lot of what you mentioned also resonated with me! Great post Eden xxx

I loved reading this post as it was so inspiring and I agree with everything you’ve written! I was just wondering as I’m still working to complete my blog, do you have any tips for a blogger who is just starting and what theme do you use? Thank you! xx

Thanks so much and write about what you love and what you would want to read. Do it from the heart and have fun. When I was still .wordpress.com I used the Twenty Twelve theme but now I’m selfhosted I bought a theme from Pipdig called Blossom xx
