I know I have a hella lot of explaining to do on the subject of where the hell I have been. Well I explained it all on my Insta stories but if you’d don’t see basically I tried to transfer my blog to a new host, competent failed none of the files were going through so after 3 weeks or so decided to come back to Siteground but ever since switching I had an issue with just a white page coming up when you entered my site in but I managed to finally sort it yesterday with restoring my site from 24th December after a chat person told me I had lost some files and I had no idea how that had happened. But anyway thanks for being so patient it means so world!
Happy 2019! Happy new year! I just can’t believe it, how are we in 2019? I feel like 2018 just flashed before my eyes. But new year, new start and all that. This is the traditional post for me, always doing a new year post. So I thought I would bring it back for 2019, I really hope you enjoy the post and make sure to let me know what your goals for 2019 are!
There was this whole thing last year with people not setting unrealistic New Years resolutions which I did and now still agree with. Why make up a list if you know you are never going to do any of it? That was me for years and years. I then realised last year that that wasn’t for me anymore, I had to make changes.
Of course the new year is all about change, new things, new beginnings and new challenges to get through. You become stronger, better and find yourself more. Or not, the new year can mean so many different things to lots of different people. I just want to better myself, to be proud of who I am and who I become and for 2019 to be an even better year then 2018.
To cut out all the negative, bad energy out of your life is so important and the new year is the perfect time to do it. If certain people, places, memories, work etc are making you sad and not benefiting you in anyway, you don’t need any of it. Make 2019 the year of positives and we will all feel better for it. That’s what I am going to be doing this year.
2018 taught me a lot, I found out lots of things that I was hidden from before. I was in some cases a mug let’s be honest but now the light is brighter than ever before and I know exactly where I stand. I made mistakes in 2018, I want to learn from them and leave them behind. I want all the lessons from 2018 to carry onto 2019 and to help me improve.
I want to achieve all my goals, I want good GCSE results that I will be proud of, I want to be motivated to revise, I want to get a job and move a bit into the adult world, I want to have the balls to leave my school forever and leave it behind and then go to college without knowing anyone. I want my confidence to improve, I would like to eat healthier but god knows if that will happen. I need to drink more water and be the best version of me. I might even eventually get the guts to chop my hair off into a bob and if it’s long enough donate to charity, I hope I do.
Also I want 2019 to be an even better year for my blog! 2018 was so good, I have now been self hosted for a year and it has had so many benefits and I just love it so much. I want to expand my content, make sure to keep on writing what I want, lots of relatable content and to get people talking about things that wouldn’t normally be talked about. I’d like to do more collaborations and improve my photography and lighting skills. I want to interact more with all of you and yeh take my blog even further really. I hope you all will stick with me for it.
I want to expand my style, be more confident and bold with my outfit choices and hopefully delve into the vintage world. Also make my fashion choices more ethical which I know is going to be hard but I really want to try. With a good wash, things can become brand new. I just wish we had better charity shops and more vintage ones, I watch so many thrifting videos in America and I’m so jealous. Get me to Goodwill, Savers and Plato’s closet ASAP!
So there are my goals for 2019, I really hope you all had a lovely Christmas and a fab new year spending it with the people you care about. Have the best 2019 and thanks so much for all your support during 2018! It means so much to me. Again, let me know what your goals are down below, I’m so interested to know.
Lots of love,
