Hey everyone, ♡
Happy Friday! I hope you are all doing really well and I hope you enjoyed last weeks post. Today’s post is going to be the third instalment of Chats with Eden. I thought you all deserved an update on my life, as I haven’t done one in ages. It makes it feel like we are friends and you can get to know me more! I really enjoy reading these posts so I hope you do too, let me know what has been going on in your life recently in the comments below if you fancy sharing? So anyway, really hope you enjoy as always!
So in my last chats with Eden, I mentioned I had just done my English Language and Maths GCSEs and in January I got my results. I was so so nervous because they are basically the most important subjects to pass.By the way before I carry on, just a disclaimer I am not trying to brag in any way, I just wanted to share my GCSE experience with you which includes the grades. I did think that I didn’t do enough work for maths and was probably going to fail and for English I just really wanted an A because I had an A overall for my speaking assessments which were 20% of my grade so I was just praying that my papers would match up to that. So, I picked up my results and had to just open them straight away as my stomach was doing flips, I pulled it out and saw Maths B?! You have no idea how much that B means to me, I literally still can’t believe it nearly 2 months later, I am so thankful for that. Then on to English, I saw an A and I was mega happy about that, so relieved to not have to resit everything and to get my target grades! But then my English teacher told me that I was 1 mark off an A*, I was in total disbelief and so sent it in for remark and I got 3 extra marks so ended up with an A*, this i mad?! What kind of life am I living, it is so crazy and I am so happy.
I guess I may as well talk about Year 11 as well, nothing really that exciting. It is really tiring but I do think it is going really fast which is always great as I can’t wait to leave school. I am so done with education for now, I need my nearly 3 month holiday of doing absolutely nothing, watching Netflix without feeling guilty and lots of sunshine! But all the revision that comes first I am so not looking forward to as I am writing this I haven’t started it yet but I am planning to before this post goes up. I just hope it will all pay off and I get the grades that I want and can move on.
I am really getting into fashion recently, I have been looking at how to style things and trying to get some inspiration to create better looks. I have bought so many more clothes and still want more, fashion used to be just something practical for me but now I have so much more passion for it. So much more than makeup, so things have actually switched around.I hope to post more fashion pics and posts in the future,i so look out for those.
I am also now 16, I have had my birthday and it was a lovely day filled with family, food and fun. It was so lovely to finally turn sweet 16. Also, thanks so much for all your lovely birthday messages, it means the world to me, it is crazy how much support you give me online, I love you all thanks so so much!
Blogging this year has been super fun, I am so excited to stretch out my content to lots of different things and just to do more with it. I hope you are all enjoying the 2019 content so far and are excited for what the rest of the year has to bring. I do have a current bit of writer’s block, but I am hoping to come out of it soon. I want to do some reviews of different things, some fashion posts and just some general positive ones because they are my favourites!
I have a few new Youtube favourites that I wanted to share with you because I think they deserve lots of love because they are amazing:
If you are into True Crime and like learning about new cases from different countries: Samantha M is the one for you, she covers Australian cases and it is so interesting for me to learn about new cases as a UK resident from around the world especially as not many Youtubers cover Australian cases, it is mainly US and UK with a few other ones thrown in.
If you love Youtube couples and like to discover new ones, I think you should check out James and Carys, they are a super cute Welsh couple, they do such fab videos, so funny and just real life you know. Carys also has her own channel called Busybeecarys mainly about fitness and fashion. They are also getting married this year so are planning their wedding too!
If you want a laugh and remember FRED? Well, the creator of FRED, Lucas now has his own channel and has had for a while but he is the best, his videos are hilarious and I love them so much. His channel is just called Lucas, you should definitely go and check his videos out!
So that is it for today’s post, I really hope you enjoyed it and make sure to check some of those Youtubers out! I hope you feel like you got to know me a bit better. Thanks so much for reading, you have no idea how much it means to me.Have a lovely weekend, keep smiling and be kind!
Lots of love,
